Piper Ian exceeded all expectations in every way- we loved what he played, the guests loved what he played, one of our family from abroad said they never liked bagpipes playing on recording, but hearing it live was completely mesmerising…. Ian is a total gentleman, his presence alone added to the event and it was noted he was heading the next day to the same part of Central Europe that my wife and more than half our guests are from… small world!

Absolutely fantastic service. Piper showed up at the funeral dressed in a kilt and proper attire for a Piper. He played excellently bringing in the coffin and at the end when the curtain was being pulled at the end. Such a lovely man and knew what to do because we didn’t know. Would highly recommend this company they are very professional and the personal communication after is very appreciated. Will use this company again in future when the time comes that we need it.

We hired a piper for our dad’s funeral and the whole experience was, from the outset, professional, courteous and first class. Brian was very helpful, spoke with me first to explain the finer touches for the service and was always on hand with quick response times when dealing with queries. The piper played amazingly well, and followed our wishes exactly. Despite the sad circumstances, it was very poignant to have Flower of Scotland played as the service ended: we could not have asked for a better send off.

I reached out to Brian to see if I could hire a piper for a private New Year’s Eve celebration. Brian was very helpful and provided all the information we needed. Booking was very easy and we had updates prior to our event. On the night the Piper was fantastic! He arrived early, looked very smart and played a range of songs. This was a great way to end the year and was the highlight of the night. Both adults and children really enjoyed the music. Will definitely book again.

Andy was very punctual, dignified and professional. He led my Father infront of the hearse to the Chapel and then again to his place of rest. We were supplied with a piper for our wedding in Monaghan in September. Dealing with Brian was so easy and he was so helpful and patient with all of our hundreds of questions. Our piper on the day was so lovely and an excellent piper. I would highly recommend piperforhireni. They were a wonderful addition to our wedding and made my Scottish husband and guests feel at home!

Our wedding went without a hitch! Our piper, Andrew did an amazing job! Unfortunately our photographer took over immediately after the wedding and I never got the chance to meet him or thank him in person. We were also the last to arrive by design so was unable to meet him then either. So can you please pass on my sincere thanks for helping to make our magical day even more spectacular? Having him there just added to the warm Irish atmosphere we have experienced our whole trip.

Our Piper today was PHENOMENAL. He was so professional and kind and truly made the entire ceremony spectacular. My fiancé was so surprised and also gave high remarks and we both agreed that it would not have been the same without him.
